Apply to the Bridge Scholars Program

The Bridge Scholars Program (Bridge) provides residential college life experience to select Colorado State University first-year applicants. The program is designed to assist students especially those from first-generation and limited income backgrounds in making a successful transition to Colorado State University.

Before proceeding to the online application, we encourage you to review the application question listed below.

Please respond to the following question as thoughtfully, concisely, and concretely as possible. Essay response should not exceed 600 words. The essay will be one of the factors used to evaluate your application. Essay and application progress may be saved at any time by selecting the "Save Progress" button at the bottom of the screen.

Essay Prompt: The Bridge Scholars Program is an 8-week residential experience with a high level of program structure & requirements, and academic rigor. Please tell us why you are interested in investing your time and energy into this experience and what you hope to gain from participating in the Bridge Scholars program.

A complete application consists of the following:
1) Submitting this online application
2) Submitting a complete CSU Admission application for Fall 2023
3) Complete appropriate Financial Aid Forms
a. 2023-2024 FAFSA (or if applicable the CASFA)
b. 2022-2023 FAFSA (or if applicable the CASFA)
Note: 2022-2023 FAFSA/CASFA required if chosen to participate in the Bridge Scholars Program

Early Bird Review and Consideration: December 16th, 2022
Regular Consideration: February 24th, 2023
