Office 365 Update to Office 365 Licensing
Description Over the next several days, ACNS will transition to use Group Based Licensing in Office 365 and apply new M365 licensing features

As we transition to using Group Based Licensing to apply licenses in Office 365, we'll also be rolling out new functionality provided by Microsoft 365 licensing. Throughout the transition it should be business as usual (no user impact anticipated!) for apps and services including e-mail, OneDrive, and Teams. At the conclusion of the process, new features such as Microsoft Bookings will be made available to faculty and staff. 

Again, we do not expect Office 365 services to be impacted but we will be making subtle changes over the course of the next few days and wanted to alert campus that this was happening. We will post updates to the Subnet Managers Microsoft Team related to the progress of this effort and will close this extended maintenance window once it has been completed.

Description Gateway Maintenance

We are going to be testing a configuration change for MS Teams Voice users in an effort to troubleshoot transfers.  No impact to existing functionailty is is expected.

In the event that campus phone service is down, do not use your desk or "land line" phone to call CSU Police at 911 or 491-6425. If you need to reach emergency services during such an outage, use a cell phone.

Pulse Secure Gateway Pulse System Code Upgrade
Description The Pulse cluster will be upgraded to address security vulnerabilities and release new back-end features.

There will be intermittent outages during this window, and remote access will be briefly interrupted as the cluster fails over and back between the nodes.  After the upgrade, it is highly recommended that users update their desktop clients to the latest version of the Pulse client found on the Security page of the ACNS website (https://www.acns.colostate.edu/security/#1478123291089-f3918698-6eec).  These updated client packages will be made available Tuesday morning (6/30/20).

Network Brief network interruptions at Tilt for network configuration.
Description Today I am working on the Tilt building installing a router in the MDF.

Network Installing building router into Richardson Design Center and cutting over all networks and IDF connections to new router.
Description All connections throughout RDC will drop during the maintenance window as primary building links/IDF links are moved and networks cut over.
