CSU Lecture Capture Rooms

Echo360 recording devices record classroom cameras, microphones and data feeds in a number of classrooms throughout campus. In Fall 2020, the number of classrooms will increase to about 200.

The following rooms are currently equipped with Echo360 recording devices. (For the most current list that can be scheduled, see the Room drop-down menu on the Request a Special Recording form.)

For all Echo360 enabled classrooms, Echo360 recording schedules are also automatically created each morning after they appear in Banner. You no longer need to request an account, courses, sections or schedules in most cases.

Recording schedules for semester classes will end on the Friday before Finals week.

Most Echo360-equipped classrooms now have a microphone permanently installed in each room. These microphones will typically be located in a charging cradle located on the lectern.

Most rooms no longer require you to check out a microphone prior to class. However, there are a few exceptions.

  • Please note, when using CHEM A101 and CHEM A103, you must check out a microphone prior to each class from the Chemistry Department office.
  • Additionally, in BSB 107, VTH A221 and VTH B213, each has a microphone system permanently mounted in the ceiling. A clip-on lavaliere microphone is not needed when recording in these classrooms.

If a microphone is missing, call the Morgan Library Help Desk: (970) 491-5920.
