Get started using your VA Educational Benefits

New students are those who have not used VA benefits before at any institution of higher education. To apply for benefits you will need to complete the appropriate VA application and submit it along with the required supporting documentation directly to the VA using the VONAPP website at www.gibill.va.gov

Or, complete and submit the appropriate VA application and provide supporting documents by mail:

Department of Veterans Affairs
PO Box 66830
St. Louis, MO 63166-6830

Once you have submitted the application and supporting documentation contact the CSU Veterans Benefits Office for assistance.

You will also need to complete a #GI Bill Enrollment Certification Request in order to be certified for each semester you register for class.

If benefits were received at a different institution prior to admission at CSU fill out a 22-1995 (Change of Place of Training Form).  Send a copy of this form to the CSU VA Certifying Official.
